Breeder Bucks

At Deer Ridge Farm we focus on Whitetail genetic lines that produce bucks that score 180"-200" at 2 years old with a wide, uptine mainframe. Our goal is to produce Whitetail bucks that have the hearty constitution needed for long term survivability in Louisiana's climate.

Our breeding strategy includes the careful blending of Southern (Louisiana, Alabama and Texas) with Northern genetics. The Southern genetics we focus on are mainly from the Gladiator, Monarch ,Pablo II and Bambi Yardstick lines. The Northern influence is derived from the legendary Maxbo Solidcore line, the most productive and successful sire ever in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
